Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express The first Golmaal wasn't scintillating, and this follow-up suffers from what most sequels do: the male leads, barring one, are the same, but it's not even the same-old, same-old. May 2, 2019 Full Review Anil Sinanan Time Out This Bollywood sex comedy sequel is predictably loud, crude and offensive. Rated: 2/5 Oct 21, 2017 Full Review Udita Jhunjhunwala DNA India Puerile is the first word that comes to mind when describing Golmaal Returns. As a sequel it manages to dive a few notches below the original. Rated: 2/5 May 27, 2015 Full Review Khalid Mohamed Hindustan Times Any indication of the story-screenplay is impossible because it seems to have been shot randomly. Camera on, maybe something will happen. Rated: 2/5 May 27, 2015 Full Review Nikhat Kazmi The Times of India The rest is one miserable rigmarole, where Tusshar and Shreyas try to infuse some madcap moments in the tedium, while the rest of the people just keep screaming and running. Audience Member Something new, something different, but still a very similar feel to its predecessor. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member It's a slapstick comedy with in-jokes I don't understand. Not a big fan of Kapoor. "Painfully puerile" sums up the fart and burp sound effects that accompany "punchlines". I skipped most of it. "The last five minutes of Golmaal Returns are the funniest I've seen in a movie theater in a very long time." Really? I guess I don't get it. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review yash b Very stupid at times but also very funny. It's watchable and won't leave you too disappointed. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member was hearing the noise and not feeling the moive. It was just dumb. No real dancing or music to it. I was bno where near as gud as da 1st part.. had a cuppl of funni mometns... cant believe it wanst a sequel tho!! very annpoyiona s i expected it 2 b a sequel n it was sumfing completely diffrent! ored its such a crazy movie, u have to be really drunk and in that kind of a mood, to love this movie, otherwise u just laugh at the absurdty of it all, but seriously why do all indian movies make a joke out of the whole gay business- wat the fuck is so funny about it?WHAT A RUBBISH FILM.. WEAKEST COMEDY OF THE YEAR WITH GOOD STARS WHO OVER ACTED.. YAIKS!!! PAINFULLY ADMITTED THT.. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Golmaal Returns is not bad, but not great either. It is nowhere near its prequel, Golmaal Fun Unlimited, but it is well-made. Definatley worth a watch! Recommended (One Time Watch) Verdict = Above Average Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Golmaal Returns is very very very bad movie! Don't waste your precious time please :) Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews
