10/07/2013 year s/b 1947 not 2008 See more 10/07/2012 The movie is a wonderful addition to the films about the Spanish Civil War that focuses on resistance to Franco-ism, the Spanish equivalent of fascism. It takes the viewpoint of the resistance in the Basque region of Spain. The main character, Father Miguel, is a liberation theologist sent to replace a right wing priest kicked out of the town for his support for the counter revolutionary Franco. He maintains his progressive principles as he watches his superiors cravenly cave to the victorious Franco. See more 09/22/2011 La ví en la 2 y me ha encantado.
