Justin A starts a little slow but honestly was one of my favorite movies I've seen over the last year Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/15/23 Full Review StephenPaul C LOL, the funniest 01 hour: and 20 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/24/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a lovely hidden gem. Good Girls Get High came out a year before Booksmart and there are strong similarities between the premises of the two movies, but in many ways this is the better film. Abby Quinn and Stefanie Scott are both a delight, the writing is funny, and the character development is both interesting and believable. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Didn’t reach the level of booksmart or Superbad that it was clearly going for but it was a decent watch none the less 2.8. This story has been told no less than a million times tho Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/24/20 Full Review Audience Member O.MG. My daughter and I just watched this movie together and we were laughing out loud!! I had to pause it multiple times to catch my breath and rewind. I am not even kidding. This movie is funny funny funny! I am 58 and my daughter is 12. She said that it is now her second favorite movie next to Bridesmaids. I cannot recommend this movie enough!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member So fun! Loved the chemistry between the lead girls. Can't recommend enough. Katie Walsh Los Angeles Times You buy into the story because you buy into Sam's plight, her awkward missteps and glorious triumphs, and Quinn makes that story take flight. Sep 18, 2020 Full Review Elizabeth Weitzman TheWrap Cynicism often curdles movies of this kind, but director Laura Terruso, who co-wrote the script with Jennifer Nashorn Blankenship, underscores each scene with sweetness. Nov 7, 2019 Full Review Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter The film is sweetly amusing throughout, knowing enough not to wear out its welcome thanks to its fast-paced 77-minute running time. It also benefits enormously from the highly appealing performances of its two leads... Nov 7, 2019 Full Review Stephen Saito Moveable Fest It's the maturity of the two teens that shines through, showing the wherewithal to pull themselves out of their own jams and grow up a little in the process, though thankfully not enough to keep "Good Girls Get High" from being an awfully fun time.
