Don Simpson Film Threat Throw Alex Karpovsky, Todd Berger, Jason Newman and Chris Doubek into a room and cinematic magic is going to happen; but the emotionally dynamic duo of Adriene Mishler and Jonny Mars turns Good Night into something that is truly special. Audience Member The character development was well done and thoughtful. I liked this movie and would watch it again. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member While almost all of the required ingredients are her to create a good film -- they somehow never manage to form into much. Gallagher's biggest mistake is that he chose to bring too many characters into what should have been a more tightly focused study of love, commitment and trust of a marriage facing tragedy. The fault does not rest with the cast. Jonny Mars delivers a particularly brilliant and effectively complex performance. Adriene Mishler is good, but she doesn't have the level of charisma or natural realism that Samantha Thomson is able to deliver in a supporting role. There was also a missed opportunity of exploring Thompson's character in relation to Mar's. But the other dinner guests don't actually serve any purpose than to distract us from what the movie is really about. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews
