Sandeep K @RT51858227 12/24/2022 i don't know if this a bad editing or bad direction, movie is never sure what it wants to be and who does it want to focus on, Girl who does not believe in rituals n her self discovery or broken relationships between father and their children, may be the whole social stigmas and lack of sensitivity of society, something is a miss here. People are never ready to face the agony of losing a loved one, especially the heart of the family, the matriarch. This is a journey of evolving raw grief to content acceptance, rigid mechanical ritualism to easygoing camaraderie. Amitabh gives a master class on the agony of a man who loses the love of his life, trying very hard to come to terms with the full impact. It's heartening to see that even in dark grief, strained family bonds can be repaired and people can come together. A really heartwarming family drama. The film depicts very correctly the unloving,uncaring,unsupportive,selfish,arrogant,and rude behaviour of today's generation when it comes to caring for their aging parents even when they have passed away. The movie especially in the first half was very funny.However in the 2nd half,it lost its zest and finally was about 20 minutes too long. It could have been edited a bit better. Everyone's performance was very good especially Amitabh and his daughter(in the movie). However this good movie was tarnished with an extremely unrealistic ending which diluted the quality of the movie. 6/10 See more Read all reviews
