It's unfortunate that Goodbye Berlin tends to fall back on coming-of-age traits, because the things that work work well, and the comedy in the film is so warm-hearted and situational that you end up wanting to like the film more. Go to Full Review

Rather than feel circumstantial, every tedious situation our protagonists find themselves in feels more like the result of writers desperately vying to come up with ideas, rather than follow any real natural flow. Go to Full Review
