Stephen Romei The Australian Keaton is impressive in the lead role. Rated: 3.5/5 Nov 22, 2024 Full Review Jake Wilson The Age (Australia) Some scenes are simply clumsy, such as a visit to a feminist poetry night where it’s unclear how much satire is intended. But if you can stomach all of that, Goodrich has its rewards. Rated: 3/5 Nov 22, 2024 Full Review Rex Reed Observer Keaton’s nuanced performance in this smart, tender comedy proves that Hollywood still has room for complex, emotionally rich leading men. Rated: 3.5/4 Oct 21, 2024 Full Review Luke Goodsell ABC News (Australia) Meyers-Shyer digs deeper than the material suggests, offering nuanced portraits of creative people who’ve spent their lives making (or curating) art at the expense of their emotional health. Dec 9, 2024 Full Review Jane Freebury The Canberra Times (Australia) An intelligent script dealing with familiar family stuff, along with Keaton's comedic flair as a single parent, makes for an interesting watch Rated: 3/5 Nov 30, 2024 Full Review James Croot Stuff.co.nz In a role apprently specifically written for him, Keaton infuses this tale with a sensitivity and smarts that ensures Andy Goodrich is no one-dimensional character – and you’re invested in his increasing plight. Francis F Decent flick about a father who has to step up and be father of the year to help his children thrive. The movie has plenty of humor, and certainly made me laugh out loud. There is some depth to this film, to be sure. I believe that everyone will take away something different from this movie, because it is open in some ways to interpretation. Overall a great flick! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/05/24 Full Review Evamarie I love Michael Keaton in everything and he was great. The actress that played the young daughter was real and funny. This was just a real story about a mixed family and it brought tears to my eyes in a few parts. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/03/24 Full Review Talia We laughed and cried while watching this movie pretty much the whole time. Not a dull moment. Probably one of the best movies Ive seen in a long time. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/30/24 Full Review marty c Slow, a bit depressing. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/30/24 Full Review Leah Good movie. Heart warming Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/29/24 Full Review Donna K Very realistic movie about relatable characters with real problems, but not predictable. Not portraying violence or offensive language as the norm. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/29/24 Full Review Read all reviews
