Rex Reed Observer Keaton’s nuanced performance in this smart, tender comedy proves that Hollywood still has room for complex, emotionally rich leading men. Rated: 3.5/4 Oct 21, 2024 Full Review Alison Willmore New York Magazine/Vulture Underneath, it’s incredibly angry at its main character despite all its attempts to make peace with him as he is. Oct 18, 2024 Full Review Robert Daniels RogerEbert.com Writer/director Hallie Meyers-Shyer’s comedy is heavy enough on the schmaltz to cast a bubbly spell that is downright endearing. Rated: 3/4 Oct 18, 2024 Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews So-so dramedy. Rated: B- Nov 11, 2024 Full Review Aaron Neuwirth We Live Entertainment Goodrich is as much a hangout movie as it is a compelling enough film about a man playing down the stresses in his life in an attempt to be better. So yes, Keaton manages to keep the head of this movie just above water. Rated: 6/10 Nov 1, 2024 Full Review Mark Jackson Epoch Times Michael Keaton, Mila Kunis, and Carmen Ejogo are some of my favorite actors, but they didn't help get the treacly, insubstantial "Goodrich" off the ground. Francis F Decent flick about a father who has to step up and be father of the year to help his children thrive. The movie has plenty of humor, and certainly made me laugh out loud. There is some depth to this film, to be sure. I believe that everyone will take away something different from this movie, because it is open in some ways to interpretation. Overall a great flick! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/05/24 Full Review Evamarie I love Michael Keaton in everything and he was great. The actress that played the young daughter was real and funny. This was just a real story about a mixed family and it brought tears to my eyes in a few parts. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/03/24 Full Review Talia We laughed and cried while watching this movie pretty much the whole time. Not a dull moment. Probably one of the best movies Ive seen in a long time. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/30/24 Full Review marty c Slow, a bit depressing. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/30/24 Full Review Leah Good movie. Heart warming Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/29/24 Full Review Donna K Very realistic movie about relatable characters with real problems, but not predictable. Not portraying violence or offensive language as the norm. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/29/24 Full Review Read all reviews
