Lovia Gyarkye Hollywood Reporter Meyers-Shyer has calibrated Goodrich to bring comfort and encourage tears, which is not an unworthy mission for a good-natured dramedy of this sort. But a more inspired path would have been welcomed. Oct 18, 2024 Full Review David Ehrlich indieWire A sweet and scatterbrained little comedy that pours its fizzy bottle of champagne problems into a charming -- and surprisingly relatable! -- sketch of fatherhood in motion. Rated: B- Oct 17, 2024 Full Review Charles Lyons-Burt Slant Magazine Goodrich is a moving and warmly humanist story of a vaguely unseemly, mostly harmless guy trying to be a better person. Rated: 2.5/4 Oct 17, 2024 Full Review Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru Heartfelt, funny and honest. Michael Keaton brings charisma, poignancy, warmth and tenderness to his role. Mila Kunis gives one of the best performances of her career. Karen A It was a hard to watch, tension yet loved filled story of change and growth. Michael Keaton, Mila Kunis and Angie McDowell play complicated characters yet make it look uncomplicated and beautiful. It was an endearing journey of adaptation for the better. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/18/24 Full Review John F I thought Mila Kunis and Michael Keaton gave worthy performances for their self-produced Goodrich flick. I found the story believable and was easily absorbed into the complex life of art dealer Andy Goodrich and his children, friends and other family members. The screenplay was well written and the directing quite serviceable. The film felt like it had a near-A team of Hollywood filmmakers behind it. All too often theater-released films seem like B team movies as A teams moved to streaming - so this is a nice change. Keaton’s well-played older father to young kids was on point and Kunis played a largely convincing pregnant woman. It is one of 2024’s better movies. For some light fare that will fulfill your entertainment needs you can’t go wrong with Goodrich. Runtime was 1:44:00 to the credits. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/18/24 Full Review Michelle A Sweet and funny story of a modern family. Incredible performances. Just what we need right now. great story telling. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/18/24 Full Review David C What a heart warming and hilarious movie. Worth seeing it in a theater. Everyone in my row was tearing up at the end.
