Audience Member If more critics would have rated it, it would have easily been a high 70s or low 80s film on the tomatometer. The acting is decent, the script-writing and story is really solid, the cinematography is great for being an indie film. The only thing that this film really needed is a better soundtrack and this could be a really excellent film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review thomas a A smart heist movie with a somewhat surprising ending. The progress of the story is not as predictable as the first 10 minutes seem to suggest. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member A mediocre movie that strains believability. I just didn't buy the too clever premises that the story puts forth. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member pretty dull and generic Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Surprisingly good. Solid plot and actually kept me interested and even anxious at times. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Very talented cast. Witty. Clever. Very well done.... Marjorie Baumgarten Austin Chronicle Rated: 0.5/5 Oct 18, 2008 Full Review Tom Keogh Seattle Times Graduation, a borderline dramedy with somewhat interesting relationship crosscurrents among four friends facing life after high school, squanders audience goodwill with its tediously judgmental treatment of anyone who isn't flush with youthful promise. Rated: 1.5/4 May 2, 2008 Full Review Walter V. Addiego San Francisco Chronicle Graduation isn't some daring amalgam of traditional movie categories; it's simply all over the place. Rated: 2/4 May 2, 2008 Full Review Austin Kennedy Sin Magazine The movie is pretty dull and generic. None of the kids feel like real people, just cardboard cut-outs of stock characters. Rated: 1/4 Jun 4, 2008 Full Review Brian Chen Filmcritic.com so unrealistic and poorly thought-out it's insulting to the entire heist genre. Rated: 1/5 May 24, 2008 Full Review Travis Nichols Seattle Post-Intelligencer Unlike 2005's pitch-perfect teen heist movie Brick, Graduation misses nearly every note it tries to hit.
