Critics Consensus

Greenfingers follows the British feel-good formula of underdogs somehow beating the odds, adding nothing new to this already saturated genre.

Ed L Delightful film, full of humour and moving moments, great lines, and surprises. Sure, it has a few cliches, and a predictable ending, but so what? It's the journey that counts. It's a feel good film, enjoy it! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/12/24 Full Review Audience Member Terrible acting. Cheesy plot. Cannot believe anyone likes this. How did they get Helen Mirren to give such a terrible performance? And no gardener could miss the dreadful clangers. (E.g. roses need frost protection?!) Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member A feel good film about how awesome gardening is. Worth a watch for all the different hats Mirren wears. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review william k Likeable, but unremarkable comedy drama. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member this was delightful.
