This soaring music documentary traces Gregg Allman's journey from a childhood scarred by his father's murder to the heights of Southern rock and late-life sobriety, exploring grief, addiction, love, and the racially charged American South through his transcendent music. Well-edited, revealing and captivating. You don't have to be a fan of Allman or rock music to be engaged by this very well-made and extraordinary documentary. Go to Full Review

TerriJ 5h It was so good! I loved just seeing Greggs face and him talking and all the interviews with the others. I knew a lot of this from reading Greggs book but for true ABB fans it’s a must see!!! I bed. A fan for almost 50 years and I loved every sec of it! The best band of all time ♥️ See more Jean 1d If you are an Allman Brothers or Gregg Allman fan, you will appreciate this well done documentary. Not just a moving story of a complicated life, filled with both tragedy and triumph, but also lots of great music and memories. My husband and I were both in tears at the end. See more Music History 1d This was a very enjoyable show. I knew very little of the history, so I definitely got a lot out of it. My husband knew a lot of the background and really liked it as well. I've told a lot of people how good it was, and they can't wait to see it. Well done! See more Kim 1d Amazing history shared with stories and music See more Elizabeth M 2d Amazing collection of the many contributors, friends, family and legends that made Gregg Allman and the ABB the cornerstone of southern rock. I wish it was in theaters much longer. See more Richard 2d Huge fan of ABB and this documentary was close to the truth throughout.
