Michael Talbot-Haynes Film Threat If acting is tricking the viewer into believing something made up is real, then [Steve] Zahn is a master of reality. Rated: 7.5/10 May 31, 2023 Full Review Roger Moore Movie Nation An intensely likeable coming-of-age dramedy trapped in an over-reaching screenplay, an entirely-too-tidy tale that works best when it’s unkempt, scruffy and a bit crumpled. Rated: 1.5/4 May 22, 2023 Full Review Stephanie Myers Common Sense Media Overall, Gringa manages to have viewers rooting for both Jackson and Marge, balancing serious emotion with lighter moments of humor. Rated: 4/5 May 3, 2023 Full Review Aaron Neuwirth We Live Entertainment Steve Zahn is brilliant at projecting the image of a lovable screw-up. Jess Gabor elevates what she has to work with, and her interplay with Zahn allows the film to stay focused during the scenes that matter most. Rated: 6/10 Apr 28, 2023 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com it's a perfectly enjoyable film featuring top-notch performances by Gabor and Zahn. Rated: 3.0/4.0 Apr 25, 2023 Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews I forgot about it even before the final credits were completed. Tracie C. Not sure why all the negative reviews on this little gem of a film? I found it to be poignant and heart warming in spots, with radiant performances from Jess Gabor and Steve Zahn. It’s not necessarily going to be a blockbuster or award winner, but I found it very enjoyable. Give it a try. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/24/23 Full Review Shelia Great feel good movie with laughter, lessons, and mucho amor. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/22/23 Full Review Horror fan 4 What a great movie about heartache and tragedy. The cast was great and the directing was very good. Tim Treakle Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/09/24 Full Review Kyle M Agreeably unique mixture between dysfunctional drama and sports practice with not much depth just to conform its structural duration with indecisive melodrama-focused climax that satisfies positively, mainly buoyed by the well-casted father-daughter performance with little resonance. (B) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/26/24 Full Review Liz L This was a great heart felt movie. I highly recommend. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/08/23 Full Review Bill M Sweet, heartwarming film. Full of love, see it and you'll feel good. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews
