Audience Member Dated and lame comedy about an American gambler who poses as a priest in order to leave Manilla with a group young women prior to Japanese invasion in World War II. The film's portrayal of the Japanese was often embarrassing and I'm guessing would be considered offensive to many Japanese people. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member A con man posing as a priest must avoid detection of Japanese army while stranded with five showgirls. A disastrous attempt at comedy and lightheartedness from the original superstar of Filipino cinema, George Montgomery. Much of the humour is pointed at the Japanese, which appears at best stereotypical and at worst racist. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
