If you were to base your opinion of this movie on reviews, you'd come to the conclusion that it's not worth watching because it's "inaccurate" or outright "lies". Apparently, there is "no such thing as sexism in the IAF" and the lead actress (who is a national treasure when people agree with her roles) is a "terrible actress". Funny that the woman who wrote the book this film was (very loosely) based on consulted on the production. Is Gunjan Saxena lying? If you're even attempting to argue that sexism wasn't a "thing" in the Indian Air Force in the mid nineties, you're probably a sexist pig. Considering that sexism is a very real thing in 2022 in American military branches ... Are you telling me that India, a country renown for sexism, patriarchy, and rape, was more progressive a quarter century ago? That's laughable. Read the negative reviews with a huuuuge grain of salt. This film is good, not great, and I suspect a lot more truthful about sexism and social issues in India than the trolls would have you believe.

Far from the fact. Too much added fiction in a biopic. Gunjan Saxena was not the first female pilot in IAF, it was Sreevidya Rajan. And IAF was not sexist like what is portrayed in the film.

Fantastic movie! The movie narrates the meteoric rise of a brave determined woman in a male dominated career and society. Unlike most other reviewers , I admired Janhvi's acting.. it is natural and personable. There is no over acting, unnecessary over the top expressions. I was inspired by the story and the father daughter scenes are thought provoking and heart warming!
