Andrew Y Excellent film. Beautifully shot, well acted and a tension building storyline, makes for thoroughly good afternoon entertainment. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/24 Full Review s r Well made, but a bit over the top for the irony, drama and unreasonableness of the characters. Saw it on TCM. They explained that Tarantino really liked it and based a character of it in his Hollywood 2019 film. I see it, but I don't consider this that good a movie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Among the ten best westerns of all time. Stellar performances by Tab Hunter and Van Heflin solidify its hold on greatness. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Good movie. Nicely written with fine performances from James Darren and Tab Hunter. Van Heflin's character was a little uneven, but came through in the end. Yes, I would recommend it. Definitely not a B movie.
