Daniel Radcliffe is very good in this movie, but the film starts to lose steam once you realize that it doesn't really have much else to offer beyond these high-energy action sequences.

If you like your action flicks a little left of centre and bordering on the gruesome then Guns Akimbo is the film for you. The fresh creative nature of the film shows why Jason Lei Howden is a director who can potentially breathe creativity into the genre

Jason Lei Howden doesn’t hold back on the brutal, violent, bloody, extremely over-the-top action, and as long as the viewer is able to accept this purposefully unrealistic depiction of a real-life videogame death match, it’s a blast of pure entertainment.

Harry Potter in a violent comedy? You betcha! Yet another graphic-novel-turned-movie, this film feels like Harley Quinn meets The Running Man. The story of a nerd-turned-gladiator features lots of shaky close-ups and is violent, hectic, and just hilarious. So much blood and so much laughter at the same time...who knew that's even possible?

A stylish and crazy video game style movie, it shouldn't be good or interesting, but it is both. A fun, innovative film, it's just so interesting that it's hard to stop watching!!! A fairly long film, it has both adult jokes and humor, but also benefits from a likeable Daniel Radcliffe, and this was definitely better than I thought, it is an adults only film, but if you can get around this, it's a fine piece of cinema and I have seen worse!!!
