Chad C Apr 2 Poor plot and bad acting. Lots of cliches combined with severe overacting, literally from the very first scene. This is an action movie of sorts, but more than an hour is devoted toward the lead-up and story development -- which is pretty bad. I found it boring and not very interesting. I recommend skipping to the point where the earthquake begins, as the action/tidal wave part is pretty cool. It contains cliches and bad acting as well, but it's the fun sort. Note that I watched the American version of this movie entitled "Tidal Wave", with Korean audio and English subtitles. I give Haeundae (Tidal Wave) 2/5 stars.
