Audience Member Absolutely awful movie. So bad itï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)s hilarious. For example, in one scene one of the killers lifts the mattress to check there isnï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)t a potential victim hiding between the it and the frame. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Hollows Eve is incredibly dumb and boring and there's nothing even remotely tense or horrifying about it. The film centres around a small group of delinquents as the tables get turned when they go from being the perpetrators to the victims. This is ultimately the films biggest problem as it's impossible to care when such a scummy selection of characters are being murdered one by one, especially as there's no form of character development to try and make them a bit more likeable. The film is also very predictable. It really doesn't take a genius to work out who the killers are. This film really isn't worth watching. Kat Hughes THN Perfectly placed on this year's Frightfest, Hallows Eve is a clever and gritty British bloodbath. Rated: 4/5 Aug 30, 2018 Full Review Anton Bitel Projected Figures Always sympathetic towards the predicament of its young hoodlums, this is a film as much about the betrayal of their generation as about their ensuing delinquency.
