See more 09/03/2023 Disney + presents Billie Eilish in her first ever concert film directed by Patrick Osborn Performing entirely at the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra the film uses striking computer graphics and sweeping camera movements Whether she’s in red or blue lighting she certainly gives off the emotions she goes through Billie started out so successful at the age of 17 in the industry becoming a Grammy award winning artist Yet she’s also been the target of body shaming and coming off as questionable to many of her fans But here she gets to sing her heart out showing how she responds to the world Featuring 16 tracks from her second album Billie touches upon the subjects of fame, physical appearance, the public’s concern with body image, some people love what some wear while others judge or hate it, others abuse it to make us feel inferior or remain quiet or not be comfortable, making assumptions about others based on their bodies and size decides who we are and what our worth is, freedom from fame, nobody really knows a celebrity, value shouldn’t be based on one’s perception and it should not be somebody’s responsibility to please everybody, as a woman you can’t have it both ways by dressing more or dressing less because it’s impossible to please everyone Many of the themes conveyed through her lyrics can be seen as her trying to repair her broken relationship with Los Angeles It’s true many forget that Billie had a life before her fame and success so anybody would be concerned about privacy and security, nobody should take their home for granted let alone forget it shaping them This concert film is only an hour and 6 min long but it is a striking looking production that will please all fans of Billie Eilish Wonderful music, great songs, and it helps Billie’s vocals are supported by not just her brother’s guitarist skills but also a musical symphony giving off a soft, gentle vibe See more Daniel B 09/28/2022 La prouesta de Disney de hacer conciertos tematizados de los artistas de moda como en este caso Billie Eilish funcionan de maravilla, con unos visuales magnificos que te mantienen en la atmosfera de este disco, junto a la gran voz de Billie Eilish que se le profundiza aún más con la profunda letra en todas sus canciones, acompañada del magnifico FINNEAS y una ochesta que muchas veces desde la discreción toma el control de las piezas de esta artista, regalan una experiencia única. Para mi este concierto se puede dividir en dos partes, donde en la primera se exploran las inseguridades de la artista antes de la fama, en relaciones comúnes que a cualquiera de nosotros nos pueden llegar a pasar que se presentan en "Getting Older" y se establencen "My Future", y la segunda parte en la que expone el lado oscuro de la fama y las inseguridades que eso conyeva también; como en "Not My Responsability" y en "Your Power" en las que se matican más el poder mediático que ella ha consechado y como no siempre a tomado las mejores decisiones para sus fans, pero también criticando como siempre está en el foco "mediatico" de todos los que la conocen fans y haters y como cada quien de esos dos grupos la crítica desde la superficialidad sin realmente saber quién es detrás de todo el glamour de ser una "estrella". Si eres fan de la artista o de la música en general vas a amar este documental, con toques del MTV clásico y buscando regalarle al espectador una experiencia completa, con una producción en sus canciones espectacular y un una fotografía increíble de la mano del ya establecido director Robert Rodríguez, regalan un viaje alucinante, una experiencia que da un acercamiento más íntimo con la artista en la que sin decir muchas palabras te habla más allá de sus lyricas.
