Teo Bugbee New York Times As Eilish croons about the pressures of fame, the Hollywood Bowl cradles her, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic lifts her. Sep 2, 2021 Full Review Sydney Urbanek Billboard As with everything else that Eilish does by way of visual accompaniment, there's simply too much at work conceptually to dismiss Happier Than Ever as a mere gift to fans. Jan 26, 2024 Full Review Jennifer Green Common Sense Media As far as concert movies go, Billie Eilish has put together a very pleasant hour with enviable accompaniment by the LA Philharmonic and others. Rated: 3/5 Sep 17, 2021 Full Review Johnny Loftus Decider Love Letter to Los Angeles smartly cuts away the chatter and behind-the-scenes rigmarole so common to music docs in favor of emphasizing that one, boldest thing: the music. Sep 3, 2021 Full Review Jorge Rivera Rubio QiiBO Exclusively for fans of Billie and her music, who probably won't mind the production's cinematic weaknesses, with little, almost nothing to offer outside audiences [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 2.5/5 Sep 3, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/12/24 Full Review Audience Member Disney + presents Billie Eilish in her first ever concert film directed by Patrick Osborn Performing entirely at the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra the film uses striking computer graphics and sweeping camera movements Whether she’s in red or blue lighting she certainly gives off the emotions she goes through Billie started out so successful at the age of 17 in the industry becoming a Grammy award winning artist Yet she’s also been the target of body shaming and coming off as questionable to many of her fans But here she gets to sing her heart out showing how she responds to the world Featuring 16 tracks from her second album Billie touches upon the subjects of fame, physical appearance, the public’s concern with body image, some people love what some wear while others judge or hate it, others abuse it to make us feel inferior or remain quiet or not be comfortable, making assumptions about others based on their bodies and size decides who we are and what our worth is, freedom from fame, nobody really knows a celebrity, value shouldn’t be based on one’s perception and it should not be somebody’s responsibility to please everybody, as a woman you can’t have it both ways by dressing more or dressing less because it’s impossible to please everyone Many of the themes conveyed through her lyrics can be seen as her trying to repair her broken relationship with Los Angeles It’s true many forget that Billie had a life before her fame and success so anybody would be concerned about privacy and security, nobody should take their home for granted let alone forget it shaping them This concert film is only an hour and 6 min long but it is a striking looking production that will please all fans of Billie Eilish Wonderful music, great songs, and it helps Billie’s vocals are supported by not just her brother’s guitarist skills but also a musical symphony giving off a soft, gentle vibe Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/05/23 Full Review Doki H It was such a great movie, getting to hear all the vocals because there isnt a whole crowd screaming and singing along. Then getting to hear the choir she grew up with is pretty cool. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/29/23 Full Review Read all reviews
