Mike P First of all guys, female dwarfs are just dwarfs. They're not "dwarfelles". And this sequel is WAY too concerned with marching lockstep with the plot formula that the first movie laid down to be any good. And we all know Filmation just ain't Disney; animation wise... Also the music is pretty atrocious. (I mean Irene Cara is a decent composer...And well connected in that industry...Couldn't SHE help? Because this is bottom of the barrel stuff.) So, the point is, don't see this. I can't imagine they actually thought this was good when they made this. Not recommended. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Cyrus K Boring story, bland animation, Unnecessary and annoying characters, and terrible songs really hurt this movie in the long run. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Liam D A Cheap Lazy impersonation of more famous fairy tales and movies based on them Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/17/22 Full Review Audience Member As a child, I loved this film dearly. For kids, entertainment doesn't always have to be top-of-the-line perfection, just fun. And that's what you'll have with this film. While not a typical childrens' sing-along, we often found ourselves singing these catchy little tunes long after the show was over. The animation isn't the greatest, but the style is cute without being overly stupid as newer kids movies tend to be. The story is suspenseful at times and well written, but I can agree that the main characters of Snow White and her Prince are bland compared to nearly every other character. Our favorite line from the film, "Get that shadow man!" is a phrase our family still uses to this day. All in all, the animation may not be on par with big studios like Disney, but this movie is still an enjoyable addition to your video library. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member It's just OK. Nothing more. The characters are likable enough, but the songs, though upbeat, are intolerably off key and barely tony nominees. The animation is crippling and gives it more a feel of a bad He-Man parody than that of a legitimate Snow White sequel. Finally, while the story is heartfelt and captivating, it is also contrived and artificial. It's more laughable than it is good or bad. I mean, it is bad, but its the kind of bad that makes for a memorable and cute movie rather than something used as a form of torture. It's adorably mediocre, but far from great.
