Scottish policeman Neal McBride (John Hannah) runs afoul of his department when he arrests a well-connected city councilor, and as punishment he is transferred to Australia. He's partnered with Lance Cooper (Steven Vidler), another independent-minded cop, but the two are like oil and water. After Cooper's life is threatened, however, they work together to thwart crooked land developer Andrew De Santos (Tony Poli), who is using criminal means to secure valuable Sydney real estate.
