See more 08/08/2016 This is an independent production with b-movie level of acting but it managed to keep my attention until the end thanks to the convincing relationship between the 2 central characters, Jake and Jade. The basic story line follows a drug dealer who reluctantly inherits his father's criminal empire when his father is sent to prison, during which he takes responsibility for a young girl whose family have met with a tragic end. The rest of the film involves Jake attempting to escape the clutches of the local gangster / psychopath / part-time florist while trying to keep Jade safe. The psychopath in question is a very bad actor but luckily he is only on screen for a limited time. The other downside to the film are the fight sequences which look so fake it distracts the viewer from any threat the scene was hoping to evoke.
