Panos Kotzathanasis Asian Movie Pulse "Harmony" manages to present some interesting comments, which, however, remain somewhat unfulfilled, with the movie, essentially, addressing those viewers who focus on the entertainment it offers, and not the serious of its premises. Audience Member Musical drama South Korea in 2010. Including top 5 korea movies in 2010.hope and light in woman prison appear because the music. Few female prisoners form a choir to showing their true behaviour and tender side. As we know South Korea drama very expert to built the sad moment, but the fresh concept this movie brought made this movie different. But i thought it will be great if the duration not too long. That's make this movie look boring in the ending. Great performances by all actresses, success to blend the funny experession and deep story of this drama. Not so good in directing and screenplay but it doesn't matter because the first intention is making us cry. Well, very success i thought. All my female member of family did that. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty clichà (C)d, but fun to watch and with a surprisingly serious ending. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought it was great! Really thought-provoking & made me look at capital punishment from a different light. I had never really considered what mothers in prison might go through in the process of raising their children. This movie just dug into lots of really gritty topics surrounding prison, and did it respectfully and thoughtfully. I was very impressed! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member There are things in the movie that are not significant that I think could be refined somehow. It makes you laugh, it makes you cry, but at times the twists are not explained well. At first it just seems like Sister's Act Korean Prisoners Version, but Sister's Act has much shallower values compared to this. Sister's Act songs are more energetic and playful, and are possibly the main thing of the movie, but this one seems to get the songs to not overpower the story, and I think they're too weak for such strong acting from the leads. It really emphasizes on the relationships of the women, but Kang Ye-Won's character could potentially be more. Too much expectation from the introduction but at the end she's less of a support. This is one of a few movies that made me cry, like many other women probably would too. Not a guy movie for sure, but it is a pretty well made movie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Wonderful & Touching! <3 love it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member It's a very moving story I absolutely love it, from their arrival to perform till the end of the film i was crying like a baby as for the ending it was just sad.
