In my opinion, this is one of the worst horror films I have ever seen. The story revolves around Viktor Crawley, but the performances are painfully lackluster. Many of the actors, some of whom have gone on to have respectable careers or were previously part of noteworthy projects, seem to lose their way in this film. The casting choices, particularly for the lead roles filled by Joel, David Moore, and Deon Richmond, set the tone for failure right from the start. These actors are simply not leading men. One is relegated to a side character, while the other fails to captivate as the central figure, leaving audiences questioning why they should invest in this film. Mercedes McNab, who previously shone as Harmony in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," appears to be stuck in a repetitive role, offering little more than a rehash of her former character—albeit with a gratuitous scene that adds nothing to her development. It makes one wonder where her career has gone since this misstep. The rest of the cast is largely forgettable, including the main actress, who leaves viewers asking, "Who is she? What is her purpose here?" Ultimately, I cannot recommend this film; it is a dismal experience that fails to deliver on any level. Rated 0.5/5 Stars •  Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/30/25 Full Review Justin T I'll break this review down into the good, the bad and the gory. I'll start with the gory. This film is very gory. It is gruesome. Now for the bad. There is nothing new here at all. It is a slasher movie lacking originality. It has humour and I don't remember good slashers being filled with humour as they would be a comedy. There is no suspense. Now for the good. It is a traditional slasher with no modern irony thrown in. The humour made me laugh once or twice. The gore is shocking. I jumped once or twice. Overall this is quite a good retrospective tribute to eighties slashers and that is its strongest point. I want a new film that either has an awesome scary atmosphere and tension or a film that leaves your mind scarred with fear for weeks to come. This was neither but a fun ride nonetheless. In retrospect I actually think that I really enjoyed this. There was no point when I was bored, the characters were interesting if a little annoying and the action was relentless for the second half.
