David B The content, interviews, and speakers were wonderful. I had never heard of Peter Tatchell before seeing this, but was in awe of his bravery. I think that had he not endured the childhood he had, he wouldn't have the courage to do what he has done. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/29/24 Full Review James P Great subject matter and something that interests me greatly - but I had to stop watching because of the intrusive use of constant loud music overpowering everything. At times people were completely drowned out by it. Real shame. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Another one of our unsung heroes whose name we didn't know. This movie pays a brilliant tribute to someone whose true life's work and heartfelt desire to make the world a better place for all who share it. He really puts his money where his mouth is on a global scale. I am happy to know there are people like Peter Tatchell living and doing what he's doing in times like these. Because of him, I can sleep a little better at night. Excellent movie!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Peter Tatchell is a hero, period. Ryan Gilbey Guardian Those unfamiliar with Tatchell or unconvinced of his significance will still find the film a decent place to start, though it remains a timid, by-the-book portrait of a man who is anything but. Rated: 3/5 Nov 1, 2021 Full Review Brad Newsome Sydney Morning Herald This affecting documentary by Australian filmmaker Christopher Amos provides a compelling chronology and human portrait while giving some of Tatchell's critics opportunity to air their criticisms and Tatchell the chance to address them. Oct 7, 2021 Full Review Victoria Luxford City AM A realistic look at just what it takes to make positive change in the world, from a man who has devoted his life to it. Rated: 4/5 Mar 2, 2022 Full Review Ray Lobo Battle Royale With Cheese What makes Hating Peter Tatchell such a compelling watch is Amos' focus on both Tatchell as person and Tatchell as protest technique. Nov 1, 2021 Full Review Hagan Osborne FILMINK (Australia) Where Hating Peter Tatchell bites hardest is in its dissection of provocation as a tool for awareness. Rated: 16/20 Oct 19, 2021 Full Review Glenn Dunks ScreenHub Tatchell's provocations are put under the microscope and the film does well to delicately balance all of the opinions. Who's right or wrong is left up to the viewer. Rated: 3.5/5 Oct 19, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews
