      Audience Member A laughably insipid and cheapjack monster-on-the-loose epic, one of my "Guilty Pleasures" (And I really mean GUILTY!) as a bunch of sea-faring knuckleheads board an abandoned ship full of ancient Aztec treasure. Little do they know a huge, bow-legged, drooling, rubber lizard-monster is in charge of guarding the cache and begins picking them off one by one with its enormous, very-bendable rubber claws! An enjoyably putrid throwback to the poverty-row horrors of the 50's and 60's, uplifted by a surprisingly strong cast: a slumming James Brolin, beautiful Joanna Pacula, Don Stroud, Duane Whitaker, and the sexy and stunning Krista Allen, here thankfully in a frequently clothing-optional role!
