Striving for a fusion of Hollywood and Bollywood, dance music drama Heartbeats concocts a cross-cultural romance for an aspiring hip-hop dancer from LA and a Mumbai wedding entertainer. But the resulting masala is distinctly tepid.

I looked up the director & saw he wrote “Save the Last Dance” - thought it was cool he did another bi-racial romance but with an American girl & a hottie Indian boy! Would love to visit the locations in India they filmed in, especially that stone temple where the pre-wedding dancing took place. Great soundtrack too!

I loved it. This movie is a reminder of what is and really isn't at stake with life. Especially in these dark times, this movie fueled dreams I hope to carry out when the pandemic is over and hopefully find love too!

Beautiful. Amitash Pradhan is a fantastic actor and easy on the eyes. Lots of newcomers in this film.

As someone who has traveled to India numerous times, I was interested in seeing this film. However, after having seen it, I wish I hadn't. It's really awful. Amateurish acting, a ridiculous plot, and aimed at pre-teen girls, the dance sequences are the only redeeming thing about this Bollywood wannabe. Avoid.
