This movie is OUTSTANDING! It has shades of Stand By Me…. But entirely different at the same time. Anthony Hopkins is Brilliant as ALWAYS! This movie really took me back in time to when life seemed so much sweeter! Love the soundtrack as well. It has HEART and SOUL and I’m shocked I’ve never seen it or even heard that much about it before tonight! Movies come and go so FAST…. Don’t let this one pass you by!!!!

Not very much action. But then it's not really an action movie, so no points lost for that. Stephen King adaptations are hit-and-miss. Some are really good (Stand by Me, The Green Mile) and some are total flops (Silver Bullet, The Tommyknockers). Hearts In Atlantis was a hit.
