Odd decisions throughout this drug drama make for a poor film. Generally, Heavy is full of bad writing, unlikable characters, and cringey moments. Go to Full Review

Frans B @FransB Dec 10 Weird in many senses of the word. Sometimes it does feel like real life though. Not very intelligently written. Cinematography is good. Story very thin and vague. Sophie Turner shines in character, rest of cast make do with what they received. Very melodramatic at times, which makes it unpleasant and unappealing. If you like the bad boy/bad girl type movies this is a good one to watch. If you’re like me and watch movies while playing on your phone or scrolling on though socials, this one made me actually lock in and grabbed my attention quick. I could be also a little bias because I think the main guy is a total hottie but I also understand not all people have the same opinion on the same movies but I definitely think it’s worth checking out. See more 02/14/2021 I loved the movie. Highly recommended! See more 02/12/2021 Great indie film. Want more films like these, it's freaking moody & cool. Sophie is dope. Darrell (Barry) and Matias (Narcos) are excellent. Love this kid Daniel Zovatto. See more 02/12/2021 Small but cool indie film. I got drawn in at the gate by Maddie (Sophie Turner). Pace is slow at times but it's got cool old school but contemporary vibes. Movie takes you on a ride. Dialogue is at times epic and loves some of these new faces. On my end it's a must see.
