LaToya Ferguson AV Club As a romantic comedy that stands on its own, Hello Ladies: The Movie hits every objective. Rated: A- Nov 28, 2014 Full Review Matthew Gilbert Boston Globe Questions are answered in Hello Ladies: The Movie, a slight but enjoyable new HBO film that wraps up the story lines from the series and sends Stuart & Co. off into the future. Nov 25, 2014 Full Review Brian Lowry Variety There is something enlightening in watching this show. Beyond that, Hello Ladies: The Movie is pleasant enough, even if it took saying goodbye, ultimately, to bring out its best side. Nov 22, 2014 Full Review Brad Oswald Winnipeg Free Press Hardcore fans who stuck with the series specifically because of its wince-worthiness will likely feel they've been victims of an elaborate bait-and-switch con. Nov 26, 2014 Full Review Roger Catlin rogercatlin.com There are some nice cameos, from everyone from Nicole Kidman to Allison Tolman. Nov 26, 2014 Full Review Tom Conroy Media Life Fans of predictable romantic comedies could enjoy Hello Ladies: The Movie. Oddly, fans of the series and of Merchant in general will probably be less pleased. Nov 25, 2014 Full Review Read all reviews

Yoosik Ethan O Overall very funny movie. Same great humour as the series it's based off of. British humour is has a unique style to it and has the same kind of laughs as Extras and Life's Too Short. Stephan Merchant is hilarious and fun as is the rest of the cast. The laughs aren't quite as frequent as the series but overall very close. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Dont get taken in by the simple, oft-repeated plot. 'Hello Ladies' is fun and spirited. It's a miracle how something as familiar could be so fresh. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Not bad but not that funny either . 2.7 Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 08/03/20 Full Review Audience Member The turn at the end is ridiculously easy. The movie did not earn her "realization." Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member As I expected, funny and witty with plenty of "squirm in your seat" embarrassing scenarios. What I didn't expect was the hard turn into genuine, powerful emotion. So many series finale's leave you saying "WTF?" but this one ties off story lines very well and the ending - while a little sappy - is very satisfying to this fan. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Cliched, unsurprising. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews
