Decades after promiscuous teen Mary Lou Maloney (Lisa Schrage) dies during a prank gone wrong, she returns as a spirit out for revenge and eager to punish the culprit, her one-time boyfriend, Billy Nordham (Michael Ironside), who is now high-school principal. Evil Mary Lou is perfectly content to kill other locals, and she eventually possesses the body of prom queen contender Vicki Carpenter (Wendy Lyon), which allows her to wreak even more havoc.

Some decent visuals and SFX can't save it. The screenplay is basically scene after scene lifted from other movies. The acting is mostly mediocre, the music is sudsy 80's synth bore but there was some entertainment value to be had. Very average rating is being over generous.

What a dumb movie. It sort of started half promising then went off at a stupid angle. I rewatched the original and thought that ain't a bad movie. So I decided to watch this later that day. It's got to be one of the dumbest sequels in movie history.
