Very cheesy and low budget but surprisingly fun. Poor acting, Roman not Greek themes and music. Mixing myths, Hebrew, Roman and Greek. I knew many of those locations sadly now all gone.

Arnold before any acting classes. It will make you want to shoot yourself instead of watching it to the end. If this is all we had to go on before we saw Arnold's newer movies we would have thought for sure he would never make it big. Proof that things can get better. LOL

I'll stick with the Luigi Cozzi Hercules starring Lou Ferrigno as my go to favourite terribly hilarious Hercules flick. It has spirit, and an insanely gonzo spirit, whereas Hercules in New York is simply a case of a coked-out room of people thinking their premise was anything but super lazy & dull as day-old coffee.
