A struggling actor, Michael, dies right after a bad breakup, awakening to a singles Purgatory where he must find his soul mate in order to cross over to the other side. With limited time to find true love among other recently deceased single New Yorkers, Michael must navigate the new customs of a ghostly dating life... as if dating in New York wasn't hard enough already. When he meets the woman of his dreams, who happens to be alive, Michael must figure out how to cheat the system to cross over with her.

There are enough bad romantic movies built on the lie that people are worthless unless they're with a soul mate. The odious Here After is even more pathetic because of its concept that people without soul mates can't go to heaven.

Here After is sweet enough at its core to stave off the cynicism some of its more outlandish elements may engender. Try to stay locked in to Michael's pursuit of true love and immerse yourself in this better-than-usual VOD offering.

The love of two souls coming together and breaking the separation between the material life and the afterlife. A conceptse difficult to comprehend for those capable of living in eternity. Death does not exist if the soul lives forever.

One of the worst movies I have ever seen. Immature dialogue and characters. Absolute stupidity. The writer/director should find another line of work. He's awful at this.

It's not a easy movie to watch but more so for those of us who have looked into the eyes of their soul mate as they passed, asking them to wait for us, promising them that we will be together again. What is a soulmate? What does love mean? Is there a space in this universe for those who have made these questions the focus of our beings? Are those who find love so meaningful and are successful in finding that love, going to be rewarded? This movie leaves so many questions unanswered as it should. I do know one thing. Love is everything.

Poorly written and directed . Long drawn out story line of finding your true love all for him to fall for someone who is alive. He then has the chance to save her life and goes all around the block and she still dies. So stupid
