Gregory @movieman529 Dec 29 A gripping yet introspective film that calls for reflection long after the credits roll. I recommend watching at least twice to absorb the deep connectivity of the characters and events, all layered with meaning. It’s one that’s hard to fully appreciate otherwise. See more Val V Dec 28 Herman is a thought provoking story. Once I realized that the man, Herman, has deep psychological issues and or illness, it was easier to follow. To me, this movie follows other "hero stories", where our protagonist has to come to grips with inner demons and hopefully healing. I give Herman two thumbs up! One should watch it more than once to understand the depth of Herman's psyche. Colin Ward's performance of Herman's torment is remarkable. Each actor's performance brought Herman's internal battle to his realty. Terrific writing and cinematography as well, are very well done! Recommend to anyone who enjoys a deeper thought movie.
