Audience Member The first story in this movie is a rushed rip off of Stephen Kings "A Good Marriage". The movie seemed to wander somewhere between making fun of it self and paying homage to the genre, at least I hope that's what they were going for. It's like they were trying to ride the wave of V/H/S, but forgot the part about good storytelling. Rated 1/5 Stars •  Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member This anthology film is a delightfully entertaining homage to the wonderful world of 80s-mid 90s SOV (Shot on Video) independent horror, each segment directed by prime examples of those that helped shape the particular subgenre. Even though this is a modern movie, it has the look and feel of a mid 90s SOV flick, thanks to the refusal to use any form of digital filmmaking or effects. My favorite segment is the final one, directed by Todd Sheets, which I found to be the best thing he has made yet in his career. But all of the entries are very entertaining and well done, with attention to detail when it comes to what SOV fans love.
