Gary Goldstein Los Angeles Times "Hidden Light" manages to be an involving ride despite its sometimes murky storytelling and elliptical character connections. Feb 15, 2018 Full Review John DeFore The Hollywood Reporter Earnest and serious-minded but never really approaching the level of the story-dense dramas that clearly inspired it, the picture proves stiffly unconvincing ... Kristina M Awesome indie film. I recommend this movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/29/22 Full Review Kris Y The three stories told within this movie are woven together and told so well that my hat is off to both the writer and director. I love the grittiness and realistic feel and find Hidden Light to be a hidden gem. Don't be mislead. Although this movie is a story of temptation, loss and redemption with a heartfelt undertow, it is not a faith based film. It is a well made crime drama and I recommend watching. Liam Graham (Donnie) Troy Coward (Drago) Jack Jovcic (Jovan) and Jeremy Levi (Jacob) all give solid performances in this high value indie movie. Some of the exterior scenes with the ocean and different landscapes are beautiful. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/27/22 Full Review Audience Member My wife and I really enjoyed that movie. It's a compelling story of faith and redemption. Intense suspense with real stakes. A beautiful film with truly outstanding performances by Jack Jovcic and Jeremy Levi. Highly recommended. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought Hidden Light had all the ingredients for a good hyperlink film such as Traffic or Babel. A true and sensitive script that takes its time with developing every characters and the issues they're dealing with. It's a fight between right and wrong, between past and future, between anger and resilience. The acting is powerful. The main character, this priest assistant is absolutely sensational. And for the final and most important ingredient a meaningful twist and a great life lesson. A great piece of art. I would definetly want to see more from the great talents behind this movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Hidden Light takes place in a world filled with drugs, drug dealers, and a priest who's involved with the criminal activity. It's a redemption story that is well told. The cinematography is great, as is the acting. Worth checking out! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member How much can you endure before you break? Hidden Light is an intense and suspenseful drama exploring the lives of 3 men after a tragic incident, out for revenge and what it does to them when they pursue that path. Cinematography and acting are great, considering the low budget. Worth a watch! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews
