See more 03/16/2014 Mervyn LeRoy directed this breezy early talkie about promoter/con man William Powell trying to sell his scheme to make rubber out of sewage. It's all pretty silly, but quite enjoyable. See more 01/04/2013 I've been filling in my William Powell gaps by catching stuff like this off TCM, and this was a pretty watchable little outing with Powell as a fast talking huckster, but overall I never really connected with it beyond my enjoyment of his patter.
