Audience Member One of the sub-genres of B westerns were the movies that featured the singing cowboys - kind of a B western version of a musical. Roy Rogers and Gene Autry were the kings of the singing cowboys, but Country Music Hall of Fame member Tex Ritter was also a renowned singing cowboy. This 1937 film was on a compilation DVD I had, and there's not much to recommend it other than to see Ritter in action on his horse White Flash. Ritter's son, John, would also enjoy a successful film and television career. Currently there is no rating for this feature on rottentomatoes.com.
