Desperate for cash, the luckless Andreas (Roland Duringer) plans to rob a Vienna grocery, but ends up spontaneously settling for a nearby tailor's shop. The robbery is a debacle. The miserly owner (Joachim Bissmeier) doesn't have a dime on the premises, and the one annoying, hypochondriac customer (Josef Hader) is happy to lecture Andreas on his folly. Trapped together in a store surrounded by police, the three men become antagonists, rivals and then unlikely allies.
