Catherine Bray Guardian Terrible writing, horrible direction, an appalling script, dreadful performances: Holiday Twist really does have it all. Rated: 1/5 Nov 6, 2024 Full Review Tara McNamara Common Sense Media It would be a stretch to call this Christmas comedy good, but its good intentions are obvious. Audience Member I love this film. I laughed. I cried. I felt all the feels in this holiday delight. The story had lots of twists and turns; it was a total ride, and I loved the music. I'll be adding this movie to my yearly holiday watchlist. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/18/24 Full Review T. W I thought this holiday movie was great. The main character honestly reflects the life of a busy businesswoman trying to juggle it all. This movie is a must-see for every working mom out there! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/18/24 Full Review Nine N It is let down by a leaden script that should be full of zip and it is devoid of laughter. It's wooden acting makes it even less palatable. No thanks. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/10/24 Full Review Dacia L I just gotta say, "Holiday Twist" really knocked my socks off. I ain't seen a Christmas movie that good in a long time. Kelly Stables was a dang joy to watch! Her character ws full of life, and she really brought out the fun in the story. Neal McDonough, as usual, was solid as a rock, and man Sean Astin—he’s always been favorite of mine since "Lord of the Rings", and he sure don’t disappoint here neither. Now, what made this movie stend out was it’s fresh take on the Christmas story. It wasn’t all the usual fluff, it had heart, real heart. It gave me hope again, reminded me what Christmas is all about—family, faith, and the joy we should be findiing in our community. We need more movies like this that bring people together and make us feel that holiday spirit deep down. Montana Tucker brought some energy to the movie, and that Caylee Cowan, she’s got bright furture ahead. Her acting was so real, like someone you could know in real life to come and save you. They all worked together like a real family, and you could feel the love. The whole thing made me remember how important family is, especially at Christmas. Life’s hard sometimes, but this movie reminded me that Christmas is about joy, happiness, and bringing people tgether. I’ll definitely be watching "Holiday Twist" again tis year, maybe with some eggnog next time! So if you’re looking for something that'll fill your heart with warmth and faith, you gottta check it out this coming Xmas. I give it two thumbs way up. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/05/24 Full Review Brooke S Great movie! Definitely a new christmas classic to add to my family's list!!
