Before use of the Internet became as habitual as watching television, documentarian Doug Block examined what people were doing in the novel world of cyberspace. At the center of Block's documentary is Justin Hall, one of the early proponents of creating a virtual world where all the intimate details of one's personal life could be displayed. Through Hall and several other early web users, Block shows how the Internet has drastically altered the line between personal and private.
