After a hive-minded alien race called the Boov conquer the Earth, they relocate the planet's human population -- all except for a little girl named Tip (Rihanna), who's managed to hide from the aliens. When Tip meets a fugitive Boov called Oh (Jim Parsons), there's mutual distrust. However, Oh is not like his comrades; he craves friendship and fun. As their distrust fades, the pair set out together to find Tip's mother, but, unbeknown to them, the Gorg -- enemies of the Boov -- are en route.

Home is a fun, cute movie with plenty of enjoyable moments, but it suffers from uneven pacing. The beginning rushes by so quickly that it doesn't give you much time to settle into the story, while the middle slows down to a crawl before picking up again. Despite these pacing issues, the film's music, featuring tracks from Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez, adds a vibrant, music-video-like energy to the movie. The ending was sweet, and overall, I had a great time watching it. I'd give it a solid 3.75 out of 5. Fun, but could have been better paced!

Can't stop thinking about this movie I remember I watched this movie at the cinema when I was 12-year-old. I love the song, storyline, animation, and overall about this movie. I tried hard not to cry because I was a nonchalant person back then, but I couldn't. Please don't judge my 12-year-old self hahaha, i find this movie very sentimental for me. Until now I still listening to 'Towards The Sun' and 'Feel The Light'. Recommend

I actually liked the movie. But let's not forget it's a Dreamworks movie... Either a quality movie that will have a bad sequel or this. The music is great and some of the moments are heartwarming, but the purple dude is really not smart and is constantly the character I think overstays his welcome or he's just the comic relief character that is annoying! The movie isn't bad for little kids and grown-up kids but mostly 13-year-olds are not connected to the movie. The message is still good, and this movie has also world building and I like the car scene but the end scene and car scene with him dancing is really cringey all-over all, I think I give it a 3-star rating kinda good, but this is still THE MEDIOCORE MOVIE. not good but not bad. just middle of the road movie. Also, the scene with her and her mom is really sad.

This movie made me cry the first time I ever watched it. I was a senior in high school at the time, so that was a tough thing to accomplish. Everyone should see this movie, at least once, it is a masterpiece!
