And boy, it didn't disappoint as it started to get very interesting after an hour into the movie, making me think about what was going on with intrigue. Although the movie tries too hard on the Scare-O-Meter by overly playing spooky music at every scene and typical jump scares, the story, suspense and build-up itself is excellent and made up for that unnecesity. This is what separates Asian movies from Western movies. Don't get me wrong, I've seen a fair share of cheesy Thai horror movies, but this is certainly not one of them. Not really a scary movie per se compared to The Ring or The Grudge atmosphere. But it had a very interesting ending that leaves the audience with an emotional impact, and not your typical Hollywood, "once upon a time, they lived happily ever after" ending. That's all I can say without giving too much away. All in all, a good movie that ranks high in one of the horror movies to watch in 2023 that I recommend, if you can spare the 2 hours. Yohanes Niko Santoso P This movie use forward dan backward plot, with multiple POV. As a parrent, the story goes hand in hand with horrific parenting experience which is the lost of little one. The grief is real, end the ending would bring tears to parents. Yet the horror and mystery still lingger and leave audience in hanging at the end.
