Audience Member A movie shot in El Campo Texas? I was curious. I hauled rice in the late 70s from the local rice mill to Los Angeles. I really liked the simple story with some of the deep sub stories. I cringed expecting to see the familiar coloring of Hispanics/Latinos/Mexicans and gang members, drug dealers, anything but American. Flaco playing accordion is a big plus for small films in small Texas towns with a big story of everyday people. I know to watch for any by Fanny Veliz going forward.
