      Critics Consensus

Smart, stylish, and nail-bitingly tense, Honeymoon packs more slow-building horror than many bigger-budget productions. Read critic reviews

Good horror. I wish the ending was a bit different, but overall I liked it. The couple were convincing and weren't your generic horror movie victims. The gore wasn't over the top, though there were some revolting moments.

well acted but the finale felt a little robbed by the twist. I like these slow burning films and the chemistry between the two leads. The writing is sharp and keeps you glued to the story.

Eerie, effective two-hander with committed performances and stylish technicals.

A solid psychological horror that takes its time to make us like its characters and care about them before investing in a creepy, intriguing mystery. It is just a pity, though, that it doesn't offer a more consistent payoff and seems to wrap up too all of a sudden.
