Sandie Angulo Chen Common Sense Media Uplifting story of Christian athlete's health struggles. Rated: 3/5 Feb 6, 2015 Full Review Mike McGranaghan Aisle Seat Audiences looking for a fresh take on this type of story will be sorely disappointed by its refusal to deviate from the norm. Nikki R Great story! Helped me look at things differently. My son to had a medical challenge who played football. This was encouraging Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/27/24 Full Review Jerod S Hoovey is a great story, but despite the actual actors in this film, it fails to connect. Hoovey recovers from his tumor to play basketball, but nobody really seems to care. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 05/27/24 Full Review R C An uplifting movie about a high school kid who battles through a brain tumor. Not a spoiler alert. It's in the film description! Watch if you're in the mood for something inspirational, family-oriented and faith-based. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Not the greatest acting, but the story really holds together. True story. Worth watching. Leaves you with a feel good feeling. Nice watching actual family photos at the end of the movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member interesting and uplifting Christian story based on real life family Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review roger g A feel-good story of an athlete overcoming adversity to succeed when it appeared that it might be impossible. Based on a true story, but probably embellished for the purpose of theatrics which, in this case, works to provide the emotional kick wanted by the book on which the story is based.
