R C An uplifting movie about a high school kid who battles through a brain tumor. Not a spoiler alert. It's in the film description! Watch if you're in the mood for something inspirational, family-oriented and faith-based. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Not the greatest acting, but the story really holds together. True story. Worth watching. Leaves you with a feel good feeling. Nice watching actual family photos at the end of the movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member interesting and uplifting Christian story based on real life family Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review roger g A feel-good story of an athlete overcoming adversity to succeed when it appeared that it might be impossible. Based on a true story, but probably embellished for the purpose of theatrics which, in this case, works to provide the emotional kick wanted by the book on which the story is based. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Touching. Interesting casting. Nice seeing Hannah Montana kid being mostly serious. Nice film I guess, over all. I just like true, inspirational sports stories. I did fall asleep during it though. So I think I missed an important plot point or two. But it was REALLY late @ night so...anyway...this review deviates from the main point, lol. I'm done. Good-ish job Pure-Flix? Hollywood-Whoever??! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/01/18 Full Review Audience Member Another faith based sports film that I wanted to be better than it was. I think a combination of better actors and writing would have made a difference. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
