Audience Member Hornblower is accused of mutiny...and shoving the captain down the stairs. He can hang if he can't prove he didn't do it. The story starts at the trial, and backs up to show you what led up to the moment...and the verdict. Loved it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member the 5th in the series still has enough depth to keep you entertained Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member How to deal with a mentally unstable and paranoid captain whose incompetence will lead to disaster? Discipline was essential and it is no small thing to upset the established order. Of course for our hero there is more than just blind obedience, there is duty to king and country! Excellent depiction of life aboard a ship of the line in the age of sail. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member I cannot say enough good things about this franchise. John Leonard New York Magazine/Vulture It's an amazing performance by Warner, paranoid even before he's concussed, so bravura in fact that we almost don't notice how good everybody else is... Feb 5, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
