Steve D Ineffective copy of much better films. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/06/23 Full Review Audience Member It's a bad movie but it's great. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Horrible. Just awful. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Not good at all. Just very stupid and boring. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Bizarre camp and low budget as all hell. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member This film was quite a mess, it sort of needs to be seen to be believed. I’m not quite sure what the story was really about, but I think a group of students are asked to do a report on a rocket scientist, they stumble their way upon a crazy guy and his idiot sidekick, and meanwhile a guy in a Richard Nixon mask goes around killing people. I bought this movie for a couple dollars on DVD, but the funny thing is, the DVD was obviously just a transfer from a crappy VHS, and the music was obviously not from the original film (for example, anytime someone was alone walking around, Link Wray’s Rumble would play). So the poor quality and horrible “new” soundtrack made this almost campier than it already is. But seriously, this is a pretty horrible film, poor deaths, horrendous acting, terrible filmmaking overall. And the funny thing is, I’m guessing the filmmakers were probably film nerds to begin with because the villain’s character’s name is Dr. Mabuse and one of the extra’s is credited as S. Eisenstein (oh, and Richard Nixon was played by Ronald Reagan). There are some pretty funny moments though, I couldn’t help but laugh at the whole sequence when the crazy Dr. Mabuse is wearing some weird Nazi skull cap and writing a letter that turns out to be all gibberish. Man, what did I just watch? Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews
