J D @Jdel317 Dec 16 If you like 'found footage' movies, watch the first and last 20 minutes, maybe even the last 20 minutes because everything else is pointless and repetitive. Poorly written, directed and produced movie that isn't good enough to be marketed as a movie so they need to lie about it and tell you it's based on true events. See more Brian M Nov 10 This found footage film has a very deliberate sense of pacing, as it adds one twist after another to develop the mystery of the missing influencer. Overall, the twists really work. Where things fall apart is the climax, which relies too much on trying to set up a big jump scare to be effective—in fact, I found myself getting bored during much of the final 10 minutes. It’s also quite illogical that a guy with advanced survival skills would react as he does. That being said, it’s not bad enough to make me regret watching it. Some of the acting is a bit shoddy but not the worst thing you'll see in an independent film. The fact that it was shot during covid and still turned out as well as it did is impressive.
