Knowingly goofy with its steamy twist on the magic of Christmas, Hot Frosty is an affable rom-com that ought to thaw the hearts of even the most skeptical of viewers.

Kristy Puchko Mashable There's a sincere pleasure in slipping down the ludicrous slide that is Hot Frosty's premise, in which a hot, naive, but very sweet man is the perfect Christmas wish — for Kathy and for any of us who may need a bit of comfort from a cold, cold world. Dec 10, 2024 Full Review Johnny Oleksinski New York Post Each new idea is worse than the last. And there’s nothing particularly snowman-y about Jack except he can’t get too warm or he’ll die, and he snacks on ice cubes. Rated: 1/4 Dec 4, 2024 Full Review Helen O'Hara Empire Magazine With so-so performances and an immensely dumb conceit, this is snow Christmas classic. Still, it’s less naughty, more ice than we might have expected.  Rated: 2/5 Nov 22, 2024 Full Review Justin Brown Medium Popcorn This film is not good. Yet it somehow has enough charm to be slightly entertaining. Rated: 2/5 Dec 18, 2024 Full Review Brandon Collins Medium Popcorn This is an absurd movie that you can't take your eyes off. It felt like all of the actors were in different films with Craig Robinson being the most enjoyable out of the bunch. Rated: 2/5 Dec 18, 2024 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...an agreeably absurd premise that’s employed to sporadically watchable yet mostly lackluster effect... Steve S Horrible in all ways. Terrible writing, even worse acting and laughable sets. This movie isn’t even worth getting drunk and making fun of… everyone involved should be embarrassed. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/22/24 Full Review joel m Netflix destroying young actors lives for Christmas Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/21/24 Full Review Kd N Loved the fun. As long as you realize it's meant to be far-fetched, it's a good one to simply enjoy! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/21/24 Full Review Laura D You have to realize this is a COMEDY. It is absolutely ridiculous. A snowman with abs so cut, they could only be carved from snow. He comes to life and cant overheat so he basically needs to keep his shirt off at all times. *cue the laughter at the ridiculousness* Dont take it too seriously and you will enjoy giggling at this cute christmas movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/21/24 Full Review Lincoln B Hot Frosty is entertaining but hallmark movie quality. The story is ok but it is not at all realistic even for a fantasy story, its dialogue is pretty cliche and the story is quite predictable. There’s some really overused hallmark tropes like the small town setting or the main characters having to live together. Despite being PG there’s a couple dirty jokes that may go over the kids heads. As far as comedy goes there’s some funny moments but I laughed harder at the stupidity of the movie than any of the attended jokes. All in all it’s a ok movie but not something to watch annually. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/20/24 Full Review David H Production and cast seem like low budget TV movie, but it is actually an adorable and heart warming story for the holidays. Recommended.
