john m I have no idea what the intention behind this film was. Feels like a quirky kind of Wes Anderson film, but there's really not any comedy in it. None of the dramatic elements work. The stylistic look kind of looks good but it's barely used in an interesting way. It's just such a bland filler movie. No wonder I have never heard of this until today even with Toni Collette and Daniel Craig in their early days. Thank God they went on to do much more interesting films. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review ginger b Great actors and performances, along with impressive art direction. But it's never more than mildly amusing. In fact, I found it pretty dull. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Extremely intelligent dark comedy in which the whole premise is brilliantly funny. It 's the kind of film that you should watch twice to see what you missed. I loved it and I wish there were more films like. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member I'm sooo happy I finally got to see this gem. I love the movie's esthetics, also as a methaphor for... no, I am not going to leave spoiler. Gotta see that for yourself : 0 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Really interesting & great performances from Tomkinson & O'Conor. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member "Psycho" meets "Delicatessen". They might do something with the microphones sticking out in every second shot, but except that it's really nice story with bizarre characters, tasty visuals, good actors and wonderful music. Moody, worth seeing. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Read all reviews
